The Grand River Snowmobile Club Inc. (GRSCi)
has been using satellite-based tracers from
Atlastrax for several years. We are based in
Central/East Coast Labrador. GRSCi has these
units on our groomer fleet, as well as a spare
that we use on snowmobile. We haven’t had
one issue with these units, and they have been
buried in snow and exposed to -35c temperatures.
It wasn’t until this past season that we had to
change batteries -- that’s 3 years in service.
The guys at Atlastrax have been great to deal
with if anything ever came up with satellite or
mapping on the webpage.
We here at The New Brunswick Federation
of Snowmobile Clubs, NBFSC started off
with a different GPS provider in recent years
where, unfortunately, we had many issues with
reliability and service from the company.
Atlastrax, however, came through with the
perfect GPS unit which doesn’t involve any hard
wiring. Anyone can install this unit, simply
install the correct batteries! This great unit
follows suit with a simple program found
online to be able to track and manage your
unit. We, the NBFSC, will be going on our third
year with Atlastrax and I am pleased to advise
that we have no issues or concerns with this
product, it’s reliability or service. Great success!
